How we work.

Currently, Invictus Physical Therapy & Adaptive Training is a cash-based, mobile physical therapy and adaptive training practice. That means a few things:

  • We don’t accept health insurance. However, Invictus can provide clients and patients with a super bill that can be submitted to insurance for out-of-network coverage; although coverage is not guaranteed and depends on your insurance. We plan to accept insurance in the future.

  • Sessions and treatments can occur at your house, your favorite park, or your local gym. We have fitness and therapy equipment we can bring with us.

  • The state of Ohio allows for direct access, which means you don’t need an order or prescription for physical therapy. However, interprofessional care is important to us. The PT will inform your primary care provider about your PT evaluation within 5 days and keep them updated on your progress.

We require medical clearance for moderate and/or high intensity exercise from your primary care, neurologist, or physical medicine physician or practitioner for both physical therapy and adaptive training services. Likewise, we discuss your medical history with you for both services and will store this information appropriately in order to protect your privacy.

We believe cost shouldn’t be a barrier to health. We are currently working on developing a scholarship program for our adaptive training programs. Please email meme@invictusptat.com if you have questions or would like to support our participants!
